Formation is a Workplace Fit Out organisation. We love what we do and enjoy getting to grips with some of the knotty problems people throw at us. We always come up with fresh ideas to challenge people’s thinking and most of all we love to deliver what you hoped for.

We think we’re a bit different to most firms in our industry, we know when a project is not right for us or when we are not right for you and we will tell you straight away. Being this straight-forward has helped us build successful long-standing customer relationships across all our stakeholders.

Our History

2003

Formation established by Paul Atkinson

2004

First commercial clients’ work won in London and particularly in the City

2007

Professional services organisations create working relationships with Formation and Formation partners with ‘best of breed’ designers to broaden offering.

2010

Large investment in technology, systems and processes. 2nd office established for support services in Haywards Heath.

2013

Creation of ‘walled garden’ where Formation accredited Interim Site and Project Managers can carry out client work, provides more flex in our service.

2017

David Leen joins the business. Establishment of White Label to enable other Main Contractors and FM firms to deliver fit out and refurb work cheaper and more effectively.

2018

Larger investment in accreditations and awards. New technology. Three specialist outsourcing agreements established to accelerate our work. Paul Atkinson becomes MD of White Label.

2019

David Leen promoted to CEO, First work internationally and widening of QA operation to include Business Assurance & Audit.

2020+

Formation invest in technology to further improve the customer experience, greater use of data & MI to make buying fit out and refurbishment easier for all parties
